Plans

You can display your asset data on a plan or drawing, define zones or markers, and set their colors according to thresholds. A plan can be linked to an asset and then used in a dashboard.

Creating a Plan

  1. Access the Plan Module:
    • Navigate to the “Plan” module.
    • Click on “Add” > “Create Plan”.
  2. Enter Plan Details:
    • Name: Enter a name for the plan.
    • Image Selection: Select an image (floor plan, machine, etc.).
    • Save: Click “Save” to create the plan. The map will appear.
  3. Adjust Image Size:
    • If necessary, adjust the size of the image to fit your needs.

Adding Markers

  1. Access the Markers Tab:
    • Go to the “Markers” tab.
    • Click on the “+” button to create a new marker.
  2. Position and Name the Marker:
    • Drag and drop the marker to position it on the image.
    • Name the marker.
  3. Edit Marker Details:
    • Shape and Size: Choose a square or round shape and define its size (small, medium, large).
    • Measurement Types: Define all the measurement types to be displayed (name, default value, and unit).
    • Thresholds and Colors: For one of the measurement types, define thresholds and associated colors.

Adding Zones

  1. Access the Zones Tab:
    • Go to the “Zones” tab.
    • Click on the “+” button to create a new zone.
  2. Draw and Name the Zone:
    • Use the shape editor to draw a geometric shape on the plan.
    • Name the zone.
  3. Edit Zone Details:
    • Measurement Types: Define the set of measurement types to be displayed (name, default value, and unit).
    • Thresholds and Colors: For one of the measurement types, define thresholds and associated colors.

Configuring the Plan

Contextualizing the Plan

  1. Associate with an Asset:
    • Select a floor type asset.
    • Click on the plan tab.
    • Edit the asset and click on “+”.
    • Select the floor plan from your plan library.
    • Name it and save.
  2. Define Data Sources:
    • For each marker/zone, define the data source for the predefined measurement types.
    • Select a data source for each value and the timestamp.
    • Save the configuration.

Example Use Case

Suppose your project consists of office buildings with several floors, and you want to monitor air quality on each floor. Each floor is divided into zones equipped with sensors for temperature, CO2, etc.

  1. Associate the Plan:
    • Follow the steps to associate the plan with the asset (e.g., the floor of a building).
  1. Configure Data Sources:
    • Define the data sources for each marker/zone.
    • Replace predefined measurement types if needed (e.g., replace CO2 with Temperature).

Displaying the Plan

  • The configured plan will appear in the asset's plan tab.
  • It can also be displayed in a dashboard using a map widget.
  • Multiple plans can be associated with an asset, allowing for different representations of the same space (e.g., indoor air quality, occupancy).

By following these steps, you can effectively display and manage your asset data on a plan, enhancing your monitoring and analysis capabilities.

Custom Plans

It can also be used to upload your own creations. If you want to use an SVG that needs to be animated by data sources, please contact the support team and we will provide you with the required specifications.
