====== Map (devices) ======

The **Devices Map** is 100% similar to the [[..assetsmanager:maps|Map (Assets)]] module.  The only difference is that the Device Map shows Devices instead of Assets.

The MAP module allows you to view all your Devices, either geolocalized by a static location, or equipped with a tracking module - GPS, WIFI-sniffing, BLE-sniffing).  You can view the latest position, trips ( set of positions for a specified period of time) and geo positions. When an Device is selected, measurements that are collected for the asset can also be viewed.

=== Devices Selector (left section) ===
The list of devices that have a geolocation, either through a static position declaration, or thanks to a Tracking device attached to them.  The Device Selector allows a seach by name, or by device type, and the selection of multiple devices. The color bullet indicates the status of the device.


 === Search Devices on a Site (top/left of the map section) ===

  * Select a site using the combo box at the upper left of the Map.
  * Click on the check box next to the combo ("Show assets in site")
  * As a result, the site will be shown, with all devices present now (or at the end of the day selected in the date picker)

=== Datepicker section (top/right of the map section) ===

Select a date, or a range of dates, and define where you want to see trips and or all geolocalized points.  A combo box allows tp specify the type of location that will be displayed: best one, LBS (wifi-sniffing or triangulation if available), Antenna (location of the communication base station - when available) or static (if defined).

=== Data Visualization Area (bottom section) ===

Access **charts**, **measurements** (in table format) and **alerts**. The **timeline** and **state** tabs show planning entries, if the "time spent" feature has been activated at the Asset's attached device level.
