On IOT Factory Software Platform
Go to Account Manager Application » Settings Module
Select Settings > LORAWAN Network Servers » thingpark
Activate this network server (active field)
Press
Create Stream URL in the UPLINK section. This
URL must be copied into ThinkPark in order to allow ThinkPark to transmit uplink payloads from LORAWAN devices to IOT Factory Platform. You will copy this
URL when creating an
Application Server in ThingPark.
NB: The Downlink token is used to send downlink messages, from the IOT Factory platform, to the device, through ThingPark network server. This token must be provided by thinkPark system administrator, and uploaded on this configuration screen.
On ThingPark
Define an Application Server
Go to ThingPark Device Manager.
Create an application server (type XML) and make it active
Add a Routing and specify the
Stream URL (Uplink) that was generated (see above) on the IOT Factory platform. So paste the
URL that you have copied before.
Save. You should have something like shown here below (only on route is needed).
Create a Routing Profile
Go to AS Routing Profile
Give a name to this profile, choose LORAWAN and link it to the Application Server that you have created in the previous step.
Save it. You should have something like shown here below.
Attach this routing profile to your devices
When creating an new device, or to be updated for existing devices. You should associate the Network Routing that you have just created, to all devices that you want to appear on the IOT Factory Software Platform. You should have something like shown here below.
Done. Don't forget to specify the Device Type for each device
This is it. Once devices communicate data, they will be automatically forwarded to IOT Factory platform.
New devices will be created automatically.
By default, it is impossible to identify the type of device (= how to decode the payload). Don't forget to define the DeviceType, on IOT Factory platform, for each new device. It can be done in Device Manager > Devices.
